When Search Engine Optimisation goes local
Effective International SEO have to be correctly localised.
It s not just about translation: from Keywords research to link building, from on page optimisation to social networking having an International Search Engine Marketing strategy is becoming incredibly important to enter a local market.
And incredible important is to understand that people living in different country are searching different things, in different way, using different devices and keywords that may not just be the ones that a perfect clean translation can suggest.
Obviously having a plain translation of a PPC campaign or of a landing page is better than nothing but may it be not as effective as localise it: Be Global: SEO Local!
SEO is my job and my passion but, fortunately, it’s not the only one: that’s why I will use this space to write about other subjects such as music or food, trying to keep a “multicultural approach”.
