I think link building and on page optimization both play equivalent role, but one is for sure.. google can't ignore content So my vote goes to on page optimization :)

I am keepin the same configuration I had the first time: I'm not adding "pws=0" (I want to see Average Joe results) but I do clean cache, cookies, I'm not logged in and I've disabled the customization based on signed-out search. We may query different datacenter tho.

Bizarre, I still see myself 8th in both Google.com and Google.co.uk with a clean browser with no cookies and turning personalization off.

http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_enGB344GB344&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=davide+corradi&pws=0

Pws=0 it is the way to turn personalization off. Anyone seeing the same?

Not surprised about Yahoo. It is not so dependant on link metrics as Google is.

Keep the results coming.
